Job Description:**

The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) serves as a trusted advisor to GDIT business units and provides strategic consulting as the primary point-of-contact and interface between the GDIT Managed Services Delivery Teams and key GDIT business stakeholders. The BRM will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships, understanding the business value of new business opportunities, advising Vice Presidents, Program Managers, Capture Mangers, and Clients on technical implications and solution options for managed services. The ideal candidate has a strong background in relationship management, service delivery, consulting, or business development within a technical disciplines.


+ BS or equivalent + 14 yrs Enterprise IT Consulting, Operations, or Service Delivery Experience with the Federal Government or MS + 12 yrs in these fields

PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) desired

IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations v3 certification required (or obtain within 3 months of hire)

Exhibits self-motivation and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment

+ Experience interfacing and communicating with Executives in relation to Information Technology projects

+ Experience analyzing and solving complex business problems

+ Experience with at least two of the following; IT portfolio management, solution development, business case creation, evaluating project criteria on ROI, strategic alignment, or cost savings and suitability

+ Strong leadership and negotiation skills

+ Proven record of excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills

+ Success in achieving sales goals

+ Travel up to 25% (client sites and GDIT Managed Services Center of Excellence)

**Job Responsibilities:**

- Builds strong relationships with GDIT business leadership and IT Service Center leadership

- Elicits and grooms well-defined problem/opportunity statements and business value

- Interfaces with all levels of an organization, from individual contributors to C-suite executives

- Improves existing processes and acts as a champion for change

- Participates in GDIT Division meetings to keep abreast of new business, existing program work and business priorities

- Briefs Federal Government Clients

- Facilitates innovation in business process and technical solution delivery

- Provides shared managed service solution recommendations for new bids as well as existing programs movement to shared managed services

- Facilitates detailed managed service delivery discussions anytime during the program lifecycle

- Assists with on-boarding and off-boarding Technology Services customers

- Develops and briefs financial and service delivery performance monthly, and as requested

- Continuously assesses the ongoing performance of service delivery and processes to determine the overall effectiveness and efficiency of each
