Job Description

The primary function of this position is to assist in the installation of low voltage systems to provide reliable, high quality customer support.

System installations may include equipment, cabinets, boxes, wire, conduit and other system materials.

Systems may include fire alarm, intrusion, access control, CCTV and other commercial low voltage systems.

Be highly self-motivated and a team player.

Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks. Monitor and assure the progress and completion of assigned tasks.

Complete and submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.

May be assigned specifics tasks in other areas


Minimum of High School Diploma/GED

Minimum of at least 1-3 years of experience in installing, servicing, and maintaining fire and security alarm systems

Working knowledge of low voltage systems equipment is desired and factory training is a plus

Strong work ethic and integrity

Detail oriented and strong problem solving skills

Proficient in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat and database (software) programs

Have a working knowledge of test equipment including multi-meters, digital analyzers, frequency meters decibel meters, and communicating devices

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. May be required to lift up to 50lbs

Familiarity with applicable codes.

State and/or local licensing a big plus.

Overtime may be required for this position with short notice. Available for travel, which may include nights and weekends

Valid driver license with acceptable driving record, we will conduct background and drug test
